In Italy, a civil ceremony is the only legally recognized ceremony and is performed in an official town hall and not on private grounds. The arrival of the bride and groom is welcomed by the Mayor, once the wedding ceremony begins some traditional Italian wedding vows and specific articles from Italian Law about family and marriage are read and traduced by a translator. Before being officially married, the spouses and their witnesses (one each) sign the official documentation.

Catholic Wedding Ceremony

• it is performed at a slightly lesser cost than the religious or civil wedding ceremony as there is no need for any documentation, celebrant, witness and translator;
• it can be held anywhere, in any beautiful location of your choice, the setting is entirely up to you, without limitations or restrictions, anything is possible: outdoor venue, castle, romantic courtyard, chapel, church, baroque palace…; and includes traditional vows or even ones written by you.
